ECO 207 - Principles of Macroeconomics

Prerequisites: Students must have satisfied all remediation in MATH.

Description: An introductory course that studies the behavior of the economy as a whole. The course explores the supply and demand model, the measurement of macroeconomic indicators (Gross Domestic Product, unemployment, inflation, and growth) and macroeconomic theories of economic fluctuations. Other topics covered include the role of the federal government and the Federal Reserve in the economy through fiscal and monetary policies, and the basic framework of international trade.
