TUITION, FEES AND EXPENSES*

Students who register for 12 or more credits or their equivalent during the fall and spring semesters are considered full-time students and pay full-time tuition and fees. During the summer semester the full-time rate does not apply; charges are based on credits or their equivalent. The tuition and fee schedule, effective with the fall 2012 semester, is subject to change at the discretion of the College. Registration is complete only upon full payment of tuition and fees.

TUITION/FEES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE COLLEGE.

  1. Education Law, Section 6305, provides, "The chief fiscal officer of each county, as defined in Section 2.00 of the local finance law, shall, upon application and submission to him of satisfactory evidence, issue to any person desiring to enroll in a community college as a non-resident student a certificate of residence showing that said person is a resident of said county... Such person shall upon registration for each college year, file with the college such a certificate of residence issued not earlier than two months prior hereto, and such certificate of residence shall be valid for a period of one year from the date of issuance." Education law, section 6301, paragraph 4, defines: "Resident" A person who has resided in the state for a period of at least one year and in the county, city, town, intermediate school district, school district or community college region, as the case may be, for a period of at least six months, both immediately preceding the date of such person's registration in a community college or, for the purpose of section sixty-three hundred five of this article, his/her application for a certificate of residence. In the event that a person qualifies as above for the state residence but has been a resident of two or more counties in the state during the six months immediately preceding his/her application for a certificate of residence pursuant to section sixty-three hundred five of this chapter, the charges to the counties of residence shall be allocated among the several counties proportional to the number of months, or major fraction thereof, of residence in each county.
  2. Subject to New York State residency requirements; high school students not meeting residency requirements will be charged $106 per credit.
  3. Except students registered solely in non-credit Continuing Education, off-campus extension classes, off-site High School programs and International Studies Courses.
  4. The Late Period is designated to be within ten (10) College Business Days before the start of each session.
  5. The Late Period Tuition Payment Fee will be charged for any form of payment which is made on or after the first day of classes.
  6. Academic Year charge of $45. If purchased separately: $25 per fall or spring semester; $10 per winter semester; $15 per summer semester.

Students with overdue tuition and fees may be referred to a collection agency and will incur additional liabilities for associated costs and processes.


Books and Supplies

Students are required to purchase their own books and supplies which are available at the campus bookstore. Approximate annual costs average $1,400 for a full time student.
