PED 670 - Lifeguard Training and Pool Management

Description: The objective of this course will be to focus attention on the basic skills and knowledge required by good swimmers to properly assume the responsibilities of lifeguards and managers at swimming pools or at protected (non-surf) open water beaches. All people interested in becoming a lifeguard must possess a lifeguard training Certificate. Upon successful completion of this course the student will receive all necessary certifications for employment as a lifeguard. These Certificates include Lifeguard Training, BLS for the professional rescuer and standard first aid.
